Borehole News
We've recently achieved two major objectives on our infrastructure development mission: bore hole water and electricity to the machine shed...
We have yet to install a full irrigation system or test our water's potability (drinkable), but we do now have a pressurising pump in place that distributes water from our new borehole to taps in various fields. Having personally lugged 25kg water containers about to keep the orchard alive during the record dry Spring, I cannot overstate the importance of this development to the farm's future success! What's more, as part of this development, we now have a couple of domestic electricity sockets available and so have the added luxury of a fridge and kettle - hurrah!
Anyway, our thanks and acknowledgements must go out to all those who have made this happen. In particular, Waterwise Engineering of Poltimore and of course the National Trust.
